Partnering to Protect the Women and Girls You Serve

Partnering to protect the women and girls you serve

Your organisation is on the front line every day, supporting women and children as they navigate fear, trauma, and uncertainty. Your staff are doing extraordinary work under extraordinary pressure, and the systems designed to help are stretched beyond capacity.

Waiting lists are growing. Demand is not slowing down.

The women in your care cannot afford to wait. And neither can your team.

The gap no one is talking about

Traditional support services are reactive; they respond after harm has occurred. What's missing is preventive, skills-based education that puts practical tools directly into the hands of the women and children you serve before a crisis escalates.

That's exactly what Empowerment Self Defence delivers.

What is Empowerment Self-Defence?

Empowerment Self Defence is not traditional self-defence. It is a trauma-informed, evidence-based, holistic education framework that addresses the whole person, mind, body, and nervous system.

Where traditional self-defence teaches physical techniques, Empowerment Self Defence teaches:

  • Early warning recognition, identifying red flags and manipulative patterns before harm escalates

  • Boundary setting, practical language and assertiveness skills for real-life situations

  • Emotional resilience, regulating fear responses and building unshakeable inner confidence

  • Verbal de-escalation, conflict resolution tools that work in the moments that matter

  • Intuitive awareness, trusting and acting on instinct rather than second-guessing

  • Physical response skills,  practical, accessible techniques adapted to individual ability and need

The result is not just safer women. It is more empowered, more self-aware, more resilient human beings.

Why organisations choose to partner with us

It complements your existing services. Empowerment Self Defence doesn't replace counselling, legal support, or crisis intervention. It fills the preventative gap, giving women agency and skills while they access your other services.

It's trauma-informed from the ground up. Every program is designed with psychological safety at its core. Participants never feel pressured, exposed, or overwhelmed. They feel safe enough to be vulnerable and that's where real learning happens.

It's inclusive and adaptable. Programs are tailored to your cohort, whether that's women from culturally diverse backgrounds, young people, individuals with disabilities, staff teams, or community groups. Language barriers, physical limitations, and neurodiversity are all accommodated.

It delivers measurable outcomes. Participants consistently report increased confidence, stronger boundaries, greater calm, and improved ability to recognise and respond to threatening situations.

"I have participated in many trainings before but nothing comes close to this one in terms of feeling safe and comfortable." - Louis, Department of Education participant, Philippines

"100% of participants rated sessions positively. 100% wanted ongoing sessions." BR Enclosure Corporate coaching cohort feedback

It's delivered by someone with nearly three decades of experience. Antonella has facilitated ESD programs across Australia and the Asia-Pacific, including the Department of Education in the Philippines, Spirit and Movement in Thailand, and community organisations throughout Queensland. She brings lived experience, academic grounding, and genuine warmth to every room she enters.
